How do I return an item?

If you are not happy for some reason with your purchase, you can return the item(s) in their original state and packaging by following the steps below.

Our return guidelines only apply to items purchased directly from Academy Sports (UK) Ltd. If you have purchased your goods from another shop or distributor please contact them to arrange your return.


To return an item to us, follow these easy steps:

·       Go to the Website and go to the Returns section.

·       Fill in the returns form and submit it.


Once received, we will review your returns request. If approved, you will be sent a returns form, which you should enclose with the goods and return to the address on the form. The returns number provided should also be put on the outside of the packaging.

Alternatively you can telephone our Customer Service team and arrange the return.


The retail customer will be entitled to a cooling off period of 7 working days from the point of purchase, the cancellation should be notified in writing (includes letter or email).

The cost of returning the product unless faulty, defective or not fit for its purpose will be at the customer's expense.


If the item is fragile or could be damaged, please ensure it is packaged appropriately.


Goods will only be accepted back at our discretion. Printed or embroidered products/garments will not be accepted back under any circumstances.


I have received a faulty / incorrect item

If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, please contact our customer service team who can help you organize the return and exchange of the product.


Have you received my return?

Depending on the shipping method that you have used to return the goods to us, we normally receive your returns within a few days of you sending it. If you sent the goods by tracked delivery you will be able to see if we have signed for them or not. Once we have received your return we will contact you to let you know and deal with the return for you.


When will I receive my replacement?

If you have returned an item to us and asked for a replacement we will send the replacement to you as soon as we receive the returned item back. We deal with all returns within 24 hours so you can rest assured we treat our returns with the same respect as we do our orders.


The following cannot be returned:

·       Goods that have been worn / washed / altered / embroidered / printed or soiled

·       Sparring equipment that is squashed/out of shape

·       Personalised & custom made products

·       Sparring equipment with straps fastened – causing wrinkling

·       Discontinued or sale merchandise

·       Merchandise not in original wrapping with instructions.

·       Returns without a returns number.

·       Goods returned after 60 days of purchase
